007 First Mild formally launched on Could 27, and though the sport was removed from freed from criticism, it has apparently been fairly common. Though SteamDB reports that First Mild peaked at solely 68,477 concurrent gamers on Steam throughout its first time out, IO Interactive confirmed in a current post to X that the sport had already bought 1.5 million copies inside 24 hours of launch. That is despite minor controversies surrounding the sport’s lack of FSR 4 and DLL mod assist.

For context, Bungie’s Marathon reached 1.2 million estimated gross sales throughout PC, PS5, and Xbox three weeks after launch. 1.5 million gross sales on day one places First Mild solely barely behind Subnautica 2, which was extremely anticipated forward of launch and managed to promote 2 million items on launch day. This sturdy displaying is made all of the extra spectacular as a result of that is IO Interactive’s first detour from the Hitman franchise in a decade.
