GRAND ISLAND – The second cease for the Cornhusker State Video games torch tour will likely be at Heartland Public Capturing Park on Might 13.
The torch lighting will happen at 3:30 p.m. Might 13.
The Heartland Public Capturing Park is positioned at 6788 W. Husker Freeway in Alda. The Heartland Public Capturing Park was based in 2005 on land the place the Cornhusker Military Ammunition Plant was positioned, and town of Grand Island bought the land.
The town managed the capturing park for 19 years below the Division of Parks and Recreation Division. Though it continues to personal the capturing park, Hornady Manufacturing took over administration in 2024.
