The Sri Lankan government-appointed Cricket Transformation Committee (CTC) and high-ranking Worldwide Cricket Council (ICC) officers are at odds over the timeline for essential cricket administration reforms in Sri Lanka.
Following the resignation of the earlier Sri Lanka Cricket regime, the newly appointed nine-member CTC is tasked with overseeing reform earlier than new elections. Regardless of latest discussions with the ICC, led by deputy chair Imran Khwaja and board member Devajit Saikia, particulars stay underneath wraps, indicative of differing views on the reform timeline.
